We walked up the street, her and me.
Not exactly kindred spirits, nor best friends. Our yin and yang couldn't be more entwined then a block of ice and a flame. What a pathetically loose-knitted sweater.

It was almost dark out, but we must have stood out like two black cats among snowmen, shuffling through the desolate road, my toes numb from being dragged in snow sheets. It would take them hours to turn pink again. She always had that effect.
