Crossroads I'm standing at a crossroads, but there's a good chance I'm actually sitting (or possibly lying face-down). This place glimmers with familiar feeling, and I am probably smelling the air, listening for voices, trying to catch the glimpse of shadows. I've found myself having wandered to a crossroads before. In my bed at four in the morning when I cannot decide which is more important: an actual six hours of sleep, or another eight hours of school plus six hours at work with an extinguished mind. The room is dark, but I hear the birds chirping brightly

| Honesty, I have decided, is kinda like a trip to the dentist. Sometimes you just have to, it hurts like hell, and if you're lucky you get a little something out of it (my favorites always being stickers and bouncy balls). With lovelovelove, Elio. I am obnoxious, loud, slightly idiotic, one strange sandwich, laughing always, writing daily, doodling my way out of a paper bag, listening to music I don't understand, loving the beach, missing winter, being shy to the point of not thinking, wearing mismatched flipflops, painting my nails so that I can type with them, messing with my phone, talking to my bestest bud, singing out of key, not saying a word, feeling my stomach growl, stuffing my face with pizza rolls, looking at my toes, and considering if it would hurt to jump from a moving fan. As it would turn out, I'm a creative person in that I have a knack for coming up with unique ways to distract myself from creating anything, which is dumb, because I want to make something wonderful and someday I intend to. Have a nice 3 a.m. |
